The fees of government medical colleges in India are very less as compared to America. In government colleges, the annual fee can range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 lakh, while in private colleges it can range from Rs 10 to 20 lakh per year. That means the total cost of MBBS in India can be around Rs 5 to 10 lakh (government college) and up to Rs 50 lakh (private college).

Challenges of medical education in America

It is very difficult to get admission in medical schools in America. For this one has to give the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), which is quite challenging. To practice in America, one has to pass the USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination), which is done in three stages.
