Raipur student Mahima Rajput’s great feat, now students from 108 countries are participating in the international space mission.

Mahima Rajput from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, has brought glory to her state as well as the country. Mahima Rajput, a class 10 student, has been selected for the International Space Mission ‘ShakthiSAT’. Students from 108 countries of the world are participating in this mission. This achievement of Mahima has given a new identity not only to her family and school but also to the entire state. Reaching an international level science program at such a young age is a great achievement in itself.

Information through school principal

Mahima told that she was told about this mission by her school principal, after which her guidance teacher Yogeshwari Lahiri got her registered and after registration, she participated in various activities and training programs. The objective of this process was to strengthen the scientific understanding of the students and their technical ability. Mahima told that initially she was given many digital modules related to science and space, after completing which both her understanding and interest increased. This hard work helped him reach this level.

Strengthened basic concepts of science

Mahima said that a total of 21 modules and 365 lessons were provided during the training. Through these, things related to science, satellite technology and space were explained to the students. He said that its objective was not only to provide information but also to prepare the students to develop practical thinking and scientific approach. Mahima says that these modules greatly improved her basic science understanding.

Training in making satellites is also part of the program

The most special thing about this program was that the students were not limited to theory only. He was also given information about the process related to satellite manufacturing. Mahima told that during the training it was explained how a satellite is prepared, how it is designed and how it is developed according to the objective of the mission. This experience gave the students an opportunity to understand space science beyond books.

Mahima will work with students from 108 countries

Mahima informed that on August 23, she has to leave for Delhi, where she along with 108 students will make a satellite which will land on the surface of the Moon and the other satellite will revolve in the Moon’s orbit.
