Recruitment for 779 posts in Bank of India, last date of application is 20th July

Bank of India Recruitment 2026: If you are preparing for a job in the banking sector, then good news has come for you. Bank of India has started the online application process for recruitment to the posts of Credit Officer. A total of 779 vacant posts will be filled under this recruitment drive, interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website of Bank of India. The last date to apply has been fixed as 20th July 2026. In such a situation, the candidates who have not applied yet can fill their form in time.

Recruitment will be done on so many posts

Under this recruitment process, appointments will be made in different management grades. Like there will be recruitment on 667 posts of MMGS-II. There will be recruitment on 61 posts of MMGS-III and there will be recruitment on 41 posts of SMGS-IV. Overall, eligible candidates will be selected on 779 posts.

What will be the educational qualifications?

Candidates appearing in this recruitment process must have graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute. For general category candidates, minimum 60 percent marks or grade is mandatory, whereas for SC, ST, OBC and PW BD category candidates, 55 percent marks is sufficient. Apart from this, candidates having professional qualification like CA, CMA, CS or AFA are also eligible to apply. For this recruitment, different age limits have also been set for different posts. Like, the age of the candidate should be 25 to 32 years for MMGS-II posts, 28 to 38 years for MMGS-III posts and 32 to 45 years for SMGS-IV posts.

What will be the selection process for recruitment?

Candidates will be selected through online examination or personal interview. This process will be decided on the basis of the number of eligible candidates applying. A total of 125 questions will be asked in the online examination, for which 125 marks will be allotted. Of these, 25 questions will be from English language and 100 questions will be from professional knowledge of the respective post. The total duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. Except English language, all other questions will be available in both Hindi and English languages. The English language paper will be qualifying only and marks for it will not be included in the final merit list. It will be mandatory for general and EWS category candidates to obtain minimum 35 percent marks in both English Language and Professional Knowledge test. The final merit list will be prepared for different categories only on the basis of marks obtained in the Professional Knowledge Test.
