NEET UG Result 2026: NTA may soon release the result of Re-NEET UG 2026 exam. According to reports, the result of NEET UG 2026 is likely to be declared by July 20. After the release of the result, more than 20 lakh candidates will be able to download their score card by visiting the official website. For this, candidates will have to login with the help of their application number and password.

Let us tell you that the Re-NEET exam was held on 21 June 2026. Earlier, the NEET UG exam held on May 3 was canceled after allegations of paper leak. The re-conducted examination was conducted at 5,440 examination centers across the country and 14 examination centers abroad. More than 20 lakh candidates had participated in the examination. This examination was conducted in a total of 13 languages ​​including English and Hindi.

Result will be released on the basis of final answer key

NTA had released the provisional answer key on 13th July. Candidates were given a chance to lodge objections till July 15. For filing objection on each question, a processing fee of Rs 200 per question was fixed, which was paid through debit card, credit card, net banking. All the objections will be investigated by a committee of subject experts. If any candidate’s objection is found correct, the concerned answer will be amended and the revised answer will be equally applicable to all the candidates. After this, the result of NEET UG 2026 will be declared only after the final answer key is prepared.

No facility for re-checking or re-evaluation

NTA has clarified that there is no provision for re-checking or revaluation of NEET UG answer sheets. According to the agency, the evaluation of OMR sheets is completely done through machine-based software, due to which the process remains fair. Candidates have already been given the opportunity to raise objections on OMR and answer key. Apart from this, after the release of the result, the scanned OMR sheets and scorecards of the candidates will also be made available on DigiLocker. With this, candidates will be able to easily download their documents if needed in future.
