UP Police Recruitment 2026: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government has announced recruitment applications for more than 81,000 posts in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department during the financial year 2026-27. This recruitment process will be completed in a phased manner through Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. Notifications for different posts will be issued on the official website of the board, in which post wise vacancies, qualification, age limit, application date and other important information will be available. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Has said that the recruitment process will be completely fair and transparent. He says that this recruitment drive will provide employment to thousands of youth. Let us tell you that this recruitment process was also announced by the Uttar Pradesh state government in the month of April.
UP Police Recruitment and Eligibility for Posts
Under this recruitment process, appointments will be made to many posts in the police department. Which includes various technical and ministerial posts along with constable, sub inspector, jail warder, radio cadre, computer operator clerk. At the same time, according to the posts included in this recruitment, the teaching qualification will also be decided separately. 12th pass candidates will be able to apply for constable posts, whereas for Sub Inspector posts, it will be mandatory to be graduate. What will be the selection process?
UP Police recruitment process will start with computer based examination. In the examination, questions related to General Knowledge, General Hindi, Reasoning, Mental Ability, Numerical Ability and Current Affairs will be asked. Recruitment for the posts of Sub Inspector will also have to face questions related to law and constitution. The candidates who are successful in the written examination will be called for the Physical Standard Test, in which height, chest and other physical parameters will be examined. After this, the candidate will have to give a physical efficiency test, in which the prescribed physical efficiency including running will be tested. In the final stage, eligible candidates will be selected after document verification and medical examination.
The application process will be online
The application process for this recruitment will be completely online. After the start of the application, candidates will first be able to read the related recruitment notification by visiting the official website of UPPRPB. After this, registration will have to be done through mobile number and email ID. In many recruitments, the process of one time registration will also have to be completed. After registration, candidates will have to fill personal, educational and other important information in the application form. After uploading the photo, signature and necessary documents in the prescribed format, the application fee will have to be deposited according to the category. Lastly, before submitting the form, you can check all the details and take a print out.
