Dinesh Kartik Says Jasprit Bumrah Kohinoor of Team India: The workload management of the players in the Indian cricket team has always been a topic of discussion. While talking to Cricbuzz, wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik praised Jasprit Bumrah and said that it is very important to take care of him for a long and successful career. Karthik said, “Bumrah is very calm and has matured now. He is a fast bowler and how can we play him in all three formats? This will be the most complex question before the selectors. It is very important to take care of the fitness of an edge bowler like Bumrah. We should save him only for important matches.”

Dinesh Karthik further said that Jasprit Bumrah is like a Kohinoor diamond for Team India. He said, “We should take care of him so that he can play cricket for a long time. Because whenever he plays in any format, he has a different charm and this is what we need. Being made the captain can increase the pressure on him and if he is sent to play in many series, then there will be a possibility of him getting injured. If this happens, Team India will be in big trouble.”

If we look at Jasprit Bumrah’s performance in the year 2024, he has not played a single ODI match. But he created a stir by taking 15 wickets in 8 T20 matches. All these wickets came in the T20 World Cup. Apart from this, he has taken 27 wickets by playing five Test matches in the year. He is the bowler who has taken the most Test wickets for India this year.
