Taunted ICC

The PCB Chairman was seen avoiding giving more information related to the Champions Trophy. He said that discussions are going on, but it is not right to issue a statement before anything is decided. He expressed confidence that whatever decision comes, it will be in the interest of Pakistan and international cricket. Naqvi did not give much information, but took a jibe at the ICC and said, “If the ICC progresses, cricket will also progress. If there is something wrong within the ICC, it will be exposed to the whole world.”

The Chief of Pakistan Cricket Board said that positive aspects have been kept in the discussions from Pakistan side. However, he seemed to avoid saying anything about the new ICC Chairman Jai Shah. Let us tell you that the Indian team has refused to go to Pakistan and for now the hybrid model seems to be the only option.
