Robin Uthappa’s first reaction on the arrest warrant, told everything in the fraud case

Robin Uthappa Reaction on Arrest Warrant: Former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa has issued his first statement on the arrest warrant issued against him. Uthappa mentioned those three companies due to which a case of provident fund fraud has been registered against them. Actually, the Indian cricketer was accused of deducting Rs 23 lakh from the salaries of the company’s employees, which Uthappa did not deposit in the provident fund. Now the Indian cricketer has issued a statement in his clarification through social media.

Robin Uthappa issued a statement on his Twitter account saying that in the year 2018-19, he was appointed to the post of director in Strawberry Lenseria Private Limited, Century Lifestyle Brands Private Limited and Barry’s Fashion House due to financial assistance. Uthappa had provided this financial help to these companies in the form of loan. Uthappa said that he had no connection with the day-to-day work of the company. The Indian cricketer also revealed that till date he has not got any executive role in any of the companies in which he has invested money.

I did not get the money back

Referring to the loans given to these companies, Robin Uthappa said, “Unfortunately, these companies failed to return the money that I had given them as loan. Because of this, I was forced to take the path of legal action.” “I have also resigned from the post of director many years ago.”

He further said, “When PF officials issued a notice demanding payment of dues, my legal team retaliated by saying that I no longer have any role in the so-called companies. We also produced those documents, In which the companies themselves had confirmed my lack of participation.”

Robin Uthappa believes that despite all this the PF officials have continued the action. Uthappa said that his legal team will take necessary steps to resolve the matter. He also urged everyone not to spread any kind of false news.
