1. Blood group test

Before pregnancy, a blood test is done to know the blood group of the couple. 2. Antibody Screen

Before conceiving, the woman also undergoes an antibody test. If a woman has previously taken the measles or rubella vaccine, this test tells whether she needs to take a booster vaccine or not.

3. Syphilis serology
