Therefore, the severity of a tumor is not only determined by whether it is cancerous or not, but its position, size and speed of growth are also important.

Another common belief is that the first symptom of a brain tumor is always a headache. But experts say that this is not necessary. According to Dr. Rudrappa, symptoms may vary from patient to patient. In some people, symptoms like seizures, weak vision, difficulty in speaking, weakness in arms and legs, loss of balance or changes in behavior may appear even before headache. This is why persistent neurological symptoms should not be ignored.

Who get brain tumors?

Many people also believe that brain tumors occur only in the elderly. Whereas the truth is that it can happen at any age. Different types of brain tumors are also seen in children, youth and middle-aged people. Therefore, it is not right to take the symptoms lightly due to young age.

The US National Cancer Institute report also states that large studies have not found a clear link between regular use of mobile phones and the risk of brain tumors.
