How to keep yourself safe amidst the hustle and bustle of Diwali, follow these important tips to avoid pollution.

The festive season brings with it a sense of glamour, happiness, celebration and togetherness. Especially here we will talk about Diwali because only a few days are left for Diwali. Diwali brings with it lots of happiness as well as air pollution. Especially in urban areas, the level of pollution increases significantly in the days after Diwali. Due to the noise of firecrackers the air quality becomes very bad. Due to this, people start having many serious health problems. Therefore, through this article we will tell you special tips to keep yourself safe from air pollution. In which you can keep yourself safe.

Wear a mask: Due to the pandemic, wearing masks has become a common practice. But they also play an important role in protecting you from harmful air pollutants. N95 and N99 masks are designed to filter out most particulate matter (PM 2.5 and PM 10). Which makes them an excellent barrier against pollution. Make sure to wear a mask while going out. Especially in areas where air quality is poor

Get out as little as possible: It is best to limit your time outdoors, especially during peak pollution hours. Pollution levels are often higher in the early morning and late evening due to low temperatures and stagnant air. If you must go out, try to schedule activities in the middle of the day when pollution levels are lower.

Use air purifier indoors: The air inside the house can also be affected by external pollution. Investing in a good air purifier for your home can significantly improve indoor air quality. Look for purifiers with HEPA filters that can block small particles. This ensures that the air inside your home is clean and safe to breathe.

keep windows and doors closed

Ventilation is necessary. But if the air quality is very bad then keep the windows and doors closed. Consider sealing any gaps in windows or doors where pollution can get in. Especially during Diwali when firecrackers are being burst.

stay hydrated

Drink lots of water. This water works to keep you hydrated. Besides, drinking water also helps your respiratory tract function properly. Staying hydrated keeps your throat and nasal passages clear. So that they do the filtering work properly. Drinking water helps in getting rid of pollution.
