Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has started making a successful dengue vaccine in the country in collaboration with Panacea Biotech on Wednesday.

Its two clinical trials have been successful. The Union Health Ministry has given this information. Let us tell you that every year during the rainy season, people had to face the havoc of dengue mosquitoes. Many people lost their lives. Now the news of its vaccine has brought relief to everyone.

When will the dengue vaccine come in the market

According to media reports, 10,335 participants have been included in the trial of the first indigenous dengue vaccine in India. The first vaccine has been administered to a person from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma PG Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak. After this, the vaccine will be trialed in 18 states and union territories. This is the last phase of the dengue vaccine. As soon as it is successful, it will come in the market very soon.

When one has dengue fever, the whole body shakes from within. Weakness increases a lot. Problems increase due to low platelet count and later one is even admitted to the hospital. After the vaccine arrives, one can get rid of all these troubles. Union Health Minister JP Nadda said about this that ‘This vaccine will prove to be very effective in the fight against dengue. Its purpose is to protect the people of the country from dengue. This is another step towards strengthening self-reliant India. People will get freedom from dengue with this vaccine.’
