Maharashtra Assembly Elections: In view of the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra, strategies are being made among all the parties and alliances. Even in the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance, no final decision has been taken yet regarding seat distribution among the allies. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi has claimed that Mahavikas Aghadi will contest the assembly elections strongly. During this, he also targeted the ruling party without taking names.

Will remove those who harass in the name of religion – Abu Azmi

He further said, “It will be fine if the party becomes small but the country needs to be big.” Those who are flouting the Constitution. Those who are harassing people only in the name of religion. To remove such people, Samajwadi Party is standing with Mahavikas Aghadi with full strength.

We are demanding 12 seats- Abu Azmi

SP leader Abu Azmi also gave his reaction regarding the seats. He said, “We are demanding 12 seats but we will still consider whatever seat we have.” Together with Mahavikas Aghadi, we are going to contest elections on all 288 seats and will defeat the communal forces. We will be happy when we defeat the communal forces.

He also said, “I would like to request all the colleagues of Mahavikas Aghadi not to fight over any seat.” Everyone should fight the elections together. Consider all 288 seats of the state as yours and work hard. All of you should wave the flag of secularism and come out victorious.
