Hemant Soren on BJP: Before the Jharkhand assembly elections, rebellious voices have started rising in CM Hemant Soren’s party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM). Big political upheaval is gaining momentum in the state. There is constant speculation that former Chief Minister Champai Soren wants to leave JMM and join BJP. These speculations have gained more strength due to Champai Soren’s Delhi visit. Meanwhile, a big statement has come from CM Hemant Soren.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren while addressing the public said, “These people (opposition) bring people from Gujarat, Assam, Maharashtra and spread poison among the backward, Dalit and minority people here and make them fight with each other. Leave aside the society, these people even break homes and work to break the party. They keep buying MLAs every day.”
‘Leaders like money’- CM Hemant Soren
CM Hemant Soren further said, “Money is such a thing that it does not take long for leaders to move from here to there. Well, no problem… our India Alliance government has been continuously standing among the people since 2019.”
Champai Soren complained to JMM
On the other hand, former Chief Minister and JMM leader Champai Soren has a complaint against his party. After the Delhi visit, he clearly put forth his side through a social media post and said that he is hurt about being removed from the post of CM. The party has treated him disrespectfully.
Champai Soren said that in a democracy nothing can be more humiliating than a CM’s programs being cancelled by another person. This happened while he was the CM. He said that in his 40-year-long unblemished political journey, he is feeling broken for the first time.
