Election date

Elections will be held in three phases in Jammu and Kashmir. The first phase will be on September 18, the second phase on September 25 and the third phase on October 1. The results will be declared on October 4.

The election in Jammu and Kashmir is going to be very historic. This is the first election after the removal of Article 370. 370 was implemented in October 1949. The first election after the implementation of 370 was held in 1962. 10 elections have been held so far after its implementation. A lot of changes have taken place in Jammu and Kashmir in the last five years. The number of seats here was earlier 87 which has now increased to 90. At the same time, former CM Ghulam Nabi Azad has also launched his party.
