J&K Assembly Polls: In view of the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, the Bharatiya Janata Party is in action mode. BJP does not seem to be in a mood to leave any stone unturned to win the elections. In this connection, BJP has made a big plan for Jammu and Kashmir.
As per its plan, the Bharatiya Janata Party will focus on 36 seats in the upcoming assembly elections of Jammu and Kashmir. It was told that these 36 seats are from the Jammu region. For these seats, the BJP has also given a message to the workers to fully immerse themselves in the elections.
BJP’s focus is on Hindu seats
BJP’s plan in Jammu is that if it wins 36 seats with Hindu majority, it can easily form the government. Actually, Lok Sabha Elections During this, BJP had gained a lead in 36 seats of the state and this is the reason why the party high command does not want to lose this lead in any case in the upcoming assembly elections. However, BJP is busy in full preparation for other seats of the state as well. According to media reports, BJP will field candidates in all the assemblies of the valley under the caste equation. Even before this, many BJP leaders have been very confident about victory in Jammu and Kashmir.
Elections will be held in three phases in Jammu and Kashmir
The Election Commission has announced to conduct assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir in three phases, in which voting will be held on September 18, September 25 and October 1. Counting of votes will be done on October 4. According to the Election Commission, there are 87.09 lakh voters in 90 constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir, of which 42.6 lakh are women. The number of young voters voting for the first time there is 3.71 lakh. There are a total of 20.7 lakh young voters, whose age is between 20 and 29 years. Around 11,838 polling stations are being set up across Jammu and Kashmir. These voter centers will be set up at a total of 9,169 places. Of these, 9,506 polling stations will be set up in rural areas. There are an average of 735 voters at each polling station. The Election Commission has decided to set up 360 model polling stations in Jammu and Kashmir this time. There are a total of 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir. Of these, 74 are general, nine ST and seven SC seats.
