CJP protesters clap after seeing RAF soldiers returning after lathi charge, video goes viral

Students Protest: After the whole day’s commotion, such a scene was seen at night which sparked a new debate on social media. Students sitting on the road were clapping, some people were taunting and RAF soldiers were silently passing by. This video shared by user @ShamaParveen70 on X has been viewed more than 2.4 lakh times till the time of writing this news. This video is said to be of the lathi charge that took place during the CJP (Cockroach Janata Party) demonstration at Jantar Mantar on Monday and is becoming increasingly viral on social media.

A different scene emerged after the lathicharge

In the video, protesters standing on the roadside are seen continuously clapping as RAF soldiers pass by. There was no visible clash or sloganeering on the spot. Rather, during this time, a voice is heard from the crowd, “Come after reducing the beatings…” and then many people start laughing and taunting the soldiers. However, after the police action throughout the day, this scene has started a new discussion on social media. Many users are considering this as a sarcastic reaction towards the security forces.

There was lathi charge during the parliament march during the day

On Monday, a large number of students and youth gathered at Jantar Mantar under the banner of CJP. The protesters were marching towards Parliament over alleged irregularities in the NEET exam and demanding the resignation of the Education Minister. The police tried to stop them by barricading, after which the tension increased. When the situation worsened, the police resorted to lathi charge and many videos of the entire incident went viral on social media.
