Cooperation necessary for land acquisition- CM
Addressing the program, he said that acquiring land for development schemes in Ranchi city is a difficult task. Unless everyone cooperates, the acquisition work cannot be completed. With becoming the capital, traffic problems have increased in Ranchi. A lot of work should have started earlier, but now work has started in the right direction late. Our government is working with a long view. CM Soren said that the development process can be improved with everyone’s participation.
‘Food supply is being done even in the name of tree plantation’
Expressing concern over the changing environment in Ranchi, he said that at one time there was no need to run AC and fan at night in Ranchi. Today the situation is completely different. Big buildings are being built in the city by cutting trees. Food supply is also being done in the name of tree plantation. People are planting marigold and rose plants, but this will not improve the environmental problem. If we want to save the environment, we will have to plant Peepal and Neem trees. Many important people including Union Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth, Minister Banna Gupta, MP Dr. Mahua Maji, MLA CP Singh, Kalpana Soren were present in the program.
