Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu In Kinnaur: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is on a visit to Kinnaur, the tribal district of the state. On Sunday (November 3), Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu visited the Girls Ashram in Kalpa, Kinnaur. During this, Horticulture and Tribal Development Minister Jagat Singh Negi was also present along with the Chief Minister.
CM Sukhu’s instructions to DC Kinnaur
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu talked to the daughters of Balika Ashram. The Chief Minister said that the state government is providing all possible help for the care and education of these girls. She inspired the girls of the ashram to work hard and keep trying to succeed in life. The Chief Minister directed the District Deputy Commissioner of Kinnaur to conduct surprise inspection of the Girls Ashram from time to time, so that all the problems of the children can be resolved in time.

Earlier on Saturday evening, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh presided over the closing ceremony of Kinnaur Utsav. Here the Chief Minister praised the people for preserving and encouraging the unique tradition of Kinnaur. He said that such festivals not only unite the community but also make people aware of the rich cultural heritage of the state.
The Chief Minister said that to protect the youth here from the ill effects of drugs, a sports complex is being constructed at a cost of Rs 28 crore. During this, the Chief Minister also gave ownership rights of the land to the poor and landless people of Kinnaur by providing them land leases under the Forest Rights Act- 2006.
