‘Cocktail 2’ wreaked havoc on Monday too, became the 8th biggest film of Shahid Kapoor

The romantic drama film ‘Cocktail 2’ was released in theaters on June 19. It received mixed reviews from critics, despite this the film is getting good response from the audience. In fact, due to the tremendous pre-release buzz and popularity of the ‘Cocktail’ brand, the film did amazing business on the opening weekend after a good start. How much did ‘Cocktail 2’ collect on the fourth day?
‘Cocktail 2’, directed by Homi Adajania and presented by Maddock Films (in association with Luv Ranjan), is the spiritual successor to the 2012 hit film ‘Cocktail’. Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty played lead roles in ‘Cocktail’. ‘Cocktail 2’ had a good start and earned Rs 13.50 crore on the first day. Due to the audience’s excitement and the value of the franchise, the film maintained its momentum during the opening weekend. Here on Saturday it earned Rs 16.25 crores, while on Sunday ‘Cocktail 2’ earned Rs 17.75 crores. With this, the film completed its first weekend in India with a net earning of around Rs 47.50 crore and a gross collection of around Rs 57 crore.

• According to the early trend report of Saknilk, it has earned Rs 6.35 crore on the fourth day of its release i.e. Monday.
• With this, its net earning for four days has now reached Rs 53.85 crore.

‘Cocktail 2’ made Shahid’s 8th greatest movie
Although there was a decline in the earnings of ‘Cocktail 2’ on Monday, the process of breaking its records continues. This romantic comedy film broke the record of lifetime earnings of ‘Shaandaar’ in just 4 days of release and has become Shahid’s 8th highest grossing film till date at the domestic box office. Its next target is ‘Haider’ (58.30 crores).
