Prime Minister Narendra Modi The central government led by PM Modi on Friday gave a special gift to the eastern states of the country. The central government approved 8 new railway projects to improve connectivity in the eastern states. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said after the cabinet meeting that the 8 new railway line projects approved by the Union Cabinet in this meeting will directly benefit 14 districts in 7 states of the country. The states benefiting from these projects include 4 states in the eastern part of the country – Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Apart from them, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will also benefit directly.
