West Bengal Assembly Special Session: The special session of the West Bengal Assembly may begin from Monday. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had hinted at calling the assembly session in a rally organized on the foundation day of the Trinamool Congress Chhatra Parishad on Wednesday (August 28). Mamata had said about incidents like the Kolkata rape-murder case that she would get the bill passed in the assembly to hang the culprits of this heinous crime within the stipulated time. This bill is likely to be presented on Tuesday.
