Prakash Kaur Reaction On Dharmendra-Hema Malini Wedding: Dharmendra and Hema Malini met for the first time on the sets of the 1970 film ‘Tum Haseen Main Jawaan’. During this time, both of them fell in love with each other, after which Dharmendra, who was already married, got married for the second time in 1980. The actor’s first wife Prakash Kaur had reacted to the marriage of Dharmendra and Hema Malini. She had said that she was not beautiful and in such a situation any person would have chosen Hema instead of her.

In an interview given to Stardust in 1981, Prakash Kaur had said – ‘Why only my husband, any man would want to give priority to Hema over me. How dare anyone call my husband a womanizer, when half the industry is doing so. The only thing is that all the actors are having an affair and they are getting married for the second time.

Prakash Kaur had said- ‘He may not be the best husband, although he is very good to me, but he is the best father, his children love him very much. Let us tell you that there were reports that son Sunny Deol had attacked Hema Malini with a knife after hearing about his father’s second marriage. In such a situation, Prakash Kaur had given clarification.

Prakash had said- ‘This is not right, every child wants that his father loves his mother the most. This does not mean that he will kill another woman who loves his father. I am neither very educated nor beautiful, but in the eyes of my children I am the best mother in the world. Similarly, for me my children are the best in the world. I have full faith in my children that none of my children can harm anyone.
