The rate of gold and silver in the bullion market of India is Rs 64700 per 10 grams for 22 carat and Rs 70580 per 10 grams for 24 carat. 22 carat gold is currently available below Rs 70,000 per 10 grams and this can become a buying opportunity for investors as there is every possibility of gold prices rising in the coming festive season.

In the morning, the price of gold on the Multi Commodity Exchange increased by Rs 25 to Rs 69920 per 10 grams and the price of silver remained at Rs 80232. Today gold went down to Rs 69714 per 10 grams on MCX and silver went up to Rs 80950.

On Comex, gold is at $2473.95 per ounce and silver is at $27.66 per ounce. Silver is seeing a nominal rise of 0.30% and gold is seeing a nominal rise of 0.01%.
