Armored Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) has started the large-scale recruitment process for the year 2026. Under this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be selected for a total of 1213 posts. The special thing is that in this recruitment, there are opportunities for ITI pass youth to experienced professionals in fields like Engineer, Chartered Accountant (CA), Human Resources, Marketing and Cyber ​​Security.

Under recruitment, maximum 1005 posts have been created for Junior Technician. Apart from this, 208 posts are for executive category posts like Junior Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Senior Manager, Consultant and Additional General Manager. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 11 July to 25 July 2026.

Most recruitment in these trades

Talking about technical posts, maximum 400 posts are available for Fitter (General). After this, 216 posts of Machinist, 84 posts of Electrician, 69 posts of Electronic Mechanic, 66 posts of Raw Material Management (OMHE) and 55 posts of Welder will be filled. Apart from this, there will also be recruitment in Foundryman, Quality Assurance, Painter, Electroplater, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance and other trades.

In the executive category, the maximum number of 92 posts are for Junior Manager (Mechanical). Appointments will also be made in areas like Electronics, Electrical, Human Resources, Metallurgy, Official Language, Artificial Intelligence, Finance, Information Technology, Marketing, Company Secretary, Public Relations, Cyber ​​Security and Intellectual Property.

Posting will be available in units across the country

Selected candidates will be appointed in various units of AVNL. These include HVF located in Avadi, Chennai, OFMK of Jabalpur, MTPF of Medak, EFA of Ambernath and other centers of the country. All appointments will be made on the basis of fixed term employment.

What qualification is required for which post?

ITI (NTC/NAC) certificate in the relevant trade is mandatory for Junior Technician posts. Whereas for posts like Junior Manager, Assistant Manager and Deputy Manager, BE/BTech or other prescribed postgraduate degree in the relevant subject has been sought.

For posts like Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Official Language, Company Secretary and Public Relations, degree or post graduation in the relevant subject is necessary. Whereas for the post of Consultant (Finance and Audit), the candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) and have at least 10 years of experience. Apart from Business Development, for the post of General Manager, a retired Army officer (at least Colonel rank) and 15 years of experience is required.

Age Limit and Application Fee

The maximum age for the posts ranging from Junior Technician to Deputy Manager has been fixed at 30 years. However, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per government rules. The maximum age for the posts of Senior Manager, Deputy General Manager, Additional General Manager and Consultant has been fixed at 65 years.

Talking about the application fee, candidates belonging to General, OBC and EWS category will have to pay a fee of Rs 300. Whereas no application fee will be charged from SC, ST, disabled, ex-servicemen and women candidates.

After filling the required information in the application form, photo, signature and necessary documents will have to be uploaded.
