Odisha Train Accident: A major train accident has happened in Balasore, Odisha. So far, the news of the death of more than 50 passengers has come to light in this accident. Railways said in a statement, “Train number 12841 was going from Chennai Central to Shalimar. This train left for Shalimar at 3.30 pm on June 2. The derailment took place near Bahnaga Bazar railway station under Kharagpur division at 8.30 pm. Went.”

NDRF and SDRF teams on the spot
Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena said, “NDRF and SDRF teams are on the spot. 600-700 personnel of the rescue force are working. The rescue operation will go on overnight and all the hospitals are cooperating. Our immediate concern is to save the victims. The concerned officials have reached the spot.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi And President Draupadi Murmu has expressed grief. PM Modi tweeted, “I am distressed by the incident of train accident in Odisha. My thoughts are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief.”
