Tirupati Temple Laddu Row: Amidst the Prasadam or Laddus controversy of Tirupati temple (regarding animal fat), Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM and Janasena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan has given a big statement. “I will sacrifice everything for Sanatan Dharma. I follow Sanatan Dharma and respect all religions,” he said at Tirupati Varahi Sabha on Thursday (October 3, 2024). A Sanatan Dharma Protection Board should be formed at the national, state level to implement the law. For fake secularists, secularism means insulting Hinduism, making fun of Hinduism and bringing back pagan religions.”
Pawan Kalyan clarified, “I do not have any grudge or feeling of revenge against any party. In 10 years, I have suffered and seen a lot of insults. It has been 100 days since the formation of the coalition government and in these days he has been out of power. If injustice is done to Venkanna in the state then how can I remain silent? Therefore, if we protect religion, we have come here to fight those who want to destroy Sanatana Dharma in Kaliyuga. I have not come as Deputy CM or President of Janasena Party, but I have come here as a Hindu and an Indian.”
According to the Deputy-CM of Andhra Pradesh, this is not the time of elections nor the time of films. This is God’s time. We are not giving respect to Sanatan Dharma. Some kind of desecration has been happening continuously for the last five-10 years. About 219 temples were desecrated. The idol of Lord Rama was broken in Ramatheertham. In such a situation, it is not just a matter of one Prasad. There is a commitment to take Sanatan Dharma Parikrakshak Trust forward, this is very important. Such incidents should be stopped and addressed differently at different levels. I follow my Sanatan Dharma and respect all religions.”
Pawan Kalyan, popularly known as Power Star, further said, “In India, all religions like Muslim, Christian and Parsi are equally respected. However, the concept of secularism cannot be one-way. It is a two-way street, in which all religions are respected.” There have been many attacks on Hindu gods, so should people not speak against him? If we are a secular country, will they? Will they remain silent? Hindus are being silenced in the name of secularism. Hindus do not even have the right to speak.
Pawan Kalyan said, “Pressure is being put on Hindus in the name of secularism. The number of people criticizing Sanatan Dharma and Hindu Gods and Goddesses has increased. The pseudo-secularists do not listen to the words of Islamic countries. Even though Bangladesh itself Is it declared an Islamic state? Should we bear the pain? The reason for this is the unity of all Hindus on the basis of castes. The time has come when we are in a situation where we are afraid to talk about our religion.”
Which announcements did Pawan Kalyan make?
- Secularism should be maintained in such a way that equal response is ensured for any harm or damage caused to any religion or its associated beliefs.
- There is an essential need for a strong law at the national level to protect the Sanatan and to stop any activities that harm their beliefs and practices. This law should be made immediately and implemented uniformly across the country.
- A “Sanatan Dharma Raksha Board” should be established at both the national and state levels to oversee the implementation of this law.
- Annual funds should be allocated to provide support to the Board
- There should be non-cooperation with persons or organizations who insult Sanatan Dharma and spread false propaganda against it.
- Sanatan Dharma certification should be implemented to ensure the purity of ingredients used in daily puja rituals and offerings in temples.
