ISKCON’s Chinmoy Prabhu arrested in Bangladesh, had protested against attacks on Hindus

Bangladesh: ISKCON’s Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu has been arrested for protesting against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. It is being claimed in Bangladeshi media reports that Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu has been detained at Dhaka Airport. According to the information, the police has arrested him in a case of treason.

ISKCON’s Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu had held a rally in support of Hindus in Rangpur, Bangladesh on 22 November. It is believed that because of this, this action has been taken against Chinmoy Krishna Prabhu. In this rally the attacks on Hindus were protested.

The government was accused of dividing Hindus

The interim government of Mohammad Yunus of Bangladesh is continuously harassing the minorities, especially the Hindus. Radical Jamaat-e-Islami with the support of BNP is openly threatening to kill ISKCON and ISKCON devotees. Against this, Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu of Bangladesh ISKCON had accused the government of conspiring to divide Hindus among themselves regarding the atrocities being committed against Bangladeshi Hindus.

Hindu is feeling unsafe

Regarding the attack on the ISKCON temple in Meherpur, Bangladesh, Chinmoy Prabhu had expressed concern about the safety of Hindu temples and said that three temples in Chittagong are in danger but some people of the Hindu community along with some people of the Muslim community have not yet attacked the temples. Has been saved. He also said that many Hindus and minorities are feeling unsafe and are going to India through West Bengal and Tripura.

‘Chinmoy Prabhu accused of treason’

In the month of October this year, Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu was accused of treason by the Bangladesh government. Cases were also registered against many other people associated with Hindu organizations. The special thing is that apart from Chinmoy Prabhu, many cases have also been registered against leaders and workers of 19 other Hindu organizations in Bangladesh.
