Maharashtra NCP Political Crisis: NCP leader Ajit Pawar rebelled and supported the Shinde-Fadnavis government. Not only this, he has also staked claim on NCP. Meanwhile, now a top Shiv Sena (UBT) leader has claimed that he was informed about the dramatic developments in Maharashtra on Saturday (July 1).

Senior leader of Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray faction said that he received a call from senior NCP leaders last evening i.e. on Saturday itself, which indicated that this could happen. “It was expected,” the top leader told India Today. Meanwhile, the UBT faction of Shiv Sena also claimed that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had a major role during the recent incidents in Maharashtra.

‘Money laundering cases against most’

A leader said on the condition of anonymity, “ED has played a major role in this because most of the leaders who are going with Ajit Pawar have money laundering cases against them. It is a ploy of the BJP to first scare them and then bring them with them.

These leaders took the oath of office

Let us inform that a total of 9 NCP leaders including Chhagan Bhujbal, Dhananjay Munde, Dilip Valse Patil took oath as ministers along with Ajit Pawar in a function at Raj Bhavan. Since then, reactions of politicians of all parties have come to the fore. CM Eknath Shinde Has termed it as a triple engine government. At the same time, the state Congress says that its alliance with the Uddhav Thackeray faction and the NCP will still continue.

Jitendra Awhad replaced Ajit Pawar

Now NCP has appointed Jitendra Awhad as the Leader of Opposition and Chief Whip in the Assembly. Awhad also said that he does not see any other reason behind the decision of these leaders to join the Shinde government. They have gone there because of the investigation being done by the central agencies.
