BANDIPORA ENCOUNTER: A terrorist was killed in an encounter in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday (November 5, 2024). This action was taken by the security forces when they received secret information about the presence of terrorists there. On receiving information, they cordoned off the area, after which some terrorists got trapped in the forests near Ketsuna area. Further encounter took place between the two sides and one terrorist was killed during the firing. However, the deceased has not been identified at present.
Let us inform that on Tuesday, the third encounter took place in the Kashmir Valley in the last four days, in which an increase in incidents related to terrorism has been seen since the formation of NC-Congress coalition government led by Omar Abdullah. On November 2, security forces claimed to have killed three terrorists, including two local residents and a Pakistani terrorist identified as Usman, in two separate encounters in south Kashmir’s Anantnag and Srinagar’s Khanyar area. At the same time, in the Khanyar encounter, four security forces personnel were also injured in the firing.
