Kejriwal got Banerjee’s support against the central ordinance, TMC will oppose the bill in Rajya Sabha

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal: Aam Aadmi Party’s National Convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal reached West Bengal on Tuesday (May 23) with the intention of getting the support of all opposition parties to stop the Centre’s ordinance in the Rajya Sabha. He met Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata and sought her support.

During this, there was a long discussion between the two leaders on many political issues, including the ordinance brought by the Center. Along with CM Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann, Rajya Sabha members Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha and cabinet minister Atishi were also present. After this, in a joint press conference with CM Arvind Kejriwal, West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee announced to support Aam Aadmi Party in Rajya Sabha against the ordinance.

‘Can defeat BJP in Rajya Sabha’

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, “The ordinance brought by the Center is against the Delhi government. We will support Delhi. This is an opportunity for all opposition parties to unite. It has a big message across the country.” Will go that we can defeat BJP in Rajya Sabha and central government’s ordinance can also be dropped. This is a big chance to defeat BJP before 2024 Loksabha election. Our party has decided that we will fight inside Rajya Sabha Will oppose the ordinance of the Center and will also seek justice in this matter from the Supreme Court.

What did Arvind Kejriwal say?

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal thanked West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and said, “When the Aam Aadmi Party government was formed in Delhi for the first time in 2015, the central government by passing a simple notification canceled all the functions of the elected government of Delhi.” We have taken away the powers that we cannot do transfer-posting of any officer.”

He further said, “If an officer does wrong, we cannot take disciplinary action against him. All these powers were taken away from us. For eight years the people of Delhi struggled. We went to the Supreme Court. After 8 years of struggle The Supreme Court gave an order in our favor and the people of Delhi won, but as soon as the Supreme Court order came, they overturned the Supreme Court order by bringing an ordinance a week later.

CM Arvind Kejriwal said, “The Center overturned the order of the Supreme Court on the day the Supreme Court was going on vacation. It means that they had a black heart. They knew that if the Supreme Court was open, The ordinance would have been stayed the very next day. These people have made a mockery of democracy.”

‘Troubling the elected governments in three ways’

CM Kejriwal said, “They (BJP) are troubling the elected governments in three ways. First, where the BJP government is not formed, they topple the government by buying MLAs and form their own BJP government.” Second, where the BJP government is not formed, using ED and CBI to intimidate and break the MLAs of the other party, bring down their government and form the BJP government. Third, where the BJP government is not formed. There, by misusing the law, they do not allow that non-BJP government to work either through the governor or by passing an ordinance.” Arvind Kejriwal said that we are also seeing in West Bengal, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Telangana how the governors are troubling.

He has become arrogant – CM

AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, “What they have done in Delhi is completely against democracy. In a way, they are saying that we do not even obey the orders of the Supreme Court. They have become very arrogant. When When a man becomes egoistic, he becomes very selfish and does not even think about the country.

He said, “I think that in the coming time, the people of the country should now remove this arrogant government.” Arvind Kejriwal said that I want to thank Mamta didi that she has asked to support us inside the Rajya Sabha. I understand that if this bill falls in the Rajya Sabha, then it will be a semi-final of 2024 from one side.

Before leaving to meet West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee, CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that he is leaving the country from today for the rights of the people of Delhi. The Supreme Court passed the order after years and did justice to the people of Delhi, giving them their rights. The central government took away all those rights by bringing an ordinance. When this law will come in the Rajya Sabha, it should not be allowed to pass under any circumstances. He said that he will meet the presidents of all political parties and seek their support. This fight is not only for the people of Delhi. This fight is a fight to save Indian democracy.

What did Bhagwant Mann say?

At the same time, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann thanked Mamta Banerjee and said, “When I was in the Lok Sabha, during that time we used to protest together with the Trinamool Congress about all the wrong bills. We used to go to the well too. Also get the bills back from West Bengal and Punjab. The relationship between West Bengal and Punjab is very strong.”

CM Mann said, Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh used to come directly to Kolkata from Lahore during the freedom struggle and the freedom permits from Kolkata used to go with him. Even now West Bengal has a very deep connection with Punjab, because a large number of Punjabis live here and they have many types of business including transport. The people of the central government have started adopting any method to make democracy in their favor. We have a massive mandate of 92 out of 117 MLAs in Punjab. Even after this, the Supreme Court had to go to run the budget session.

Bhagwant Mann said, the Supreme Court ordered that the Governor cannot stop the budget session, it should go on. These people harass us to this level. If the Governors and the Prime Minister have to run the country together, then why so much is being spent on elections? 30-31 Governor and Prime Minister should run the country. Bhagwant Mann Said that these people go abroad and shout that India is the biggest democratic country, but do not allow anyone to work inside the country. Crores of people choose the MLA and Chief Minister of their choice. Then what are they voting for? They have made a mockery of democracy. Now it is a question of saving the democracy of the country.
