Burnham said – the country is demanding new politics

Addressing senior leaders and supporters of the Labor Party, Burnham said that the country is demanding a new politics. He also warned that this was the Labor Party’s last chance for change. The party will have to work unitedly.

It is now expected that Burnham will take over as PM on Monday after Starmer goes to Buckingham Palace and starts the process of transfer of power.
