Ranjith quits Kerala Chalachitra Academy: Renowned Malayalam cinema director Ranjit on Sunday (25 August) resigned from the post of head of the Kerala Film Academy run by the Kerala government. Ranjit’s resignation has come at a time when a few days ago Bengali actress Srilekha Mitra had accused him of misbehaving and abusing her in 2009. Questions were being raised on Ranjit since this allegation.
