Mayawati angry over reservation decision of Nayab Saini government, what did BSP supremo say?

Lucknow News: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has implemented the decision of quota within quota in Scheduled Caste reservation as soon as he assumed office. CM Saini has implemented with immediate effect the decision of the Supreme Court which includes the creation of sub-category under Scheduled Caste. BSP supremo and former CM Mayawati have expressed their displeasure over this decision of CM Saini.

BSP supremo Mayawati wrote on Twitter – “The decision of the new BJP government of Haryana to implement classification in the reservation of SC community, i.e. to implement a new system of quota within the reservation quota, is an attempt to divide the Dalits again and keep them fighting among themselves. He wrote – “The fact that the BJP’s central leadership has not come forward to stop the Haryana government from doing so also proves that like the Congress, the BJP is also engaged in a conspiracy to first make reservation inactive and ineffective and ultimately to end it. Which is grossly unfair and BSP is in fact the name of the struggle to organize and unite these classes against ‘divide and rule’ in the SC-ST and OBC society. Our struggle to make them the ruling class will continue.”

Let us tell you that after the cabinet meeting, CM Nayab Singh Saini, while giving a press conference, said that “respecting the decision of the Supreme Court, we have decided to implement the order of classification into Scheduled Castes from today itself.” In the same year, the Constitution bench of the Supreme Court gave this historic decision with a 6:1 majority. Through this decision, the court had overturned its 2004 decision.
