‘Not a good fit for the Indian team…’ Former Australian captain targets Gambhir

Paine praised Ravi Shastri’s tenure
Recalling the time of Ravi Shastri, Tim Paine said that under his leadership the Indian team won the Test series in Australia twice. Paine said, “Shastri created a positive environment for the team. He inspired the players and created an energetic atmosphere. Gambhir’s coaching style is a bit strict, but it does not seem right for the Indian team.

Gambhir vs Ponting controversy happened recently
Recently there was a dispute between Gautam Gambhir and Ricky Ponting. The controversy started when Ricky Ponting expressed concern over Virat Kohli’s form. He said that Virat’s recent form can become a challenge for the team. Gambhir hit back sharply at Ponting’s comment and asked why he interferes in Indian cricket. Ponting called Gambhir a ‘prickly character’ and clarified that his comment was only an analysis.
