Jammu Kashmir News: After winning the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, now the National Conference is going to form the government. The party is preparing to form a government in the state with Congress. Meanwhile, on Friday (October 11), NC leader Omar Abdullah handed over the alliance letter to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan and staked claim to form the government.
Leaving the Raj Bhavan, Omar Abdullah said, “I have just returned from the Raj Bhavan, I have submitted the letter of my alliance to the Lieutenant Governor, along with us Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, CPI-M and many independent MLAs also gave us their support. If all the proceedings are done properly then the swearing in ceremony will take place on Wednesday next week.”

Omar Abdullah further said, I have asked the Lieutenant Governor to fix the date as soon as possible so that the oath can be taken and the people’s elected government can handle its work. He said that although there is a long process before taking oath, it may take several days.
On the participation of leaders of India Alliance in the swearing-in ceremony, Um Abdullah said, “The leader of India Alliance is Farooq Abdullah and he will give the invitation. Those whom I have to invite, I will invite them tomorrow.”
