Pawan Kalyan discharged from hospital after shoulder surgery, wife shares pictures

Veteran actor of South Cinema and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan has been discharged from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Examination revealed rotator cuff injuries in both his shoulders, for the treatment of which he underwent a 3.5-hour long surgery on Saturday, July 11. After being under the observation of doctors for a few days, he was finally discharged on Wednesday, July 15.

The information about Pawan Kalyan’s discharge from the hospital has been given by his wife Anna Konidela herself. Recently he shared some pictures of the actor from the hospital on Instagram. With this he thanked the doctors.

Anna Konidela wrote, ‘Today we have finally been discharged from the hospital and our hearts are completely filled with gratitude. Thank you for the successful operation of my husband. Heartfelt thanks to this wonderful medical team for taking such excellent care of him. We knew he was in safe hands. This gave our family a precious thing – peace of mind.

There was serious injury in both shoulders, second surgery will be done after two months.
Thanking the doctors who performed the surgery, he further wrote, ‘We will always be grateful to you for your skill as well as your kindness, dedication and compassion during this journey.’ Let us tell you that Pawan Kalyan was suffering from a serious problem of rotator cuff in both the shoulders, which he had ignored for years. Doctors have first operated on his right shoulder, which lasted for about three and a half hours. The operation on his left shoulder will be done about two months from now.

Pawan Kalyan left for Hyderabad
According to Hindustan Times, doctors have advised Pawan Kalyan to start physiotherapy after three weeks. It will take about four months for his operated shoulder to recover completely. After being discharged from the hospital, he has left directly for his residence in Hyderabad.

Pawan Kalyan will be seen in Surendra Reddy’s film
Talking about the work front, Pawan Kalyan was last seen in the film ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ (2026). The makers had high expectations from this film, but it proved to be a flop at the box office. Currently, he is shooting for the upcoming film being directed by Surendra Reddy.
