Rahul Gandhi’s reaction came amidst the exit poll figures in Karnataka, know what he said?

Rahul Gandhi on Karnataka Elections: Voting for the Karnataka Assembly elections took place on Wednesday (May 10). After the voting was over, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted thanking the voters and Congress workers. He wrote that I want to thank Babbar Sher Congress workers and leaders for a well run, dignified campaign.

He further wrote that thanks to the people of Karnataka for voting in large numbers for a progressive future. Voting for 224 assembly seats in Karnataka began at 7 in the morning, which continued till 6 in the evening. Around 65.69 percent polling has taken place in the state till 5 pm. In most of the exit polls that came after the voting, Congress has been predicted to emerge as the largest party.

In the exit polls of ABP News and C Voter, there is a possibility that Congress may get 100 to 112 seats. While BJP can get 83 to 95 seats and JDS can get 21 to 29 seats. In Karnataka, a triangular contest is being considered between the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, the Congress and the Janata Dal (Secular) of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda.

72.36 percent polling was held in 2018 elections

Prominent people who voted included former Prime Minister Deve Gowda, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, former Chief Ministers BS Yediyurappa, DV Sadananda Gowda as well as Siddaramaiah and Jagadish Shettar, IT industry stalwarts. NR Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy. In the 2018 assembly elections in Karnataka, the voter turnout was 72.36 percent.
