You can take the best out of him by leaving him free and tell him to go play and win matches. Don’t give him the burden of captaincy. I think Aiden Markram is a better captain. He has captained Africa well. He is mentally strong. I think he can bring out the best from the players.”

Jaffer further said, “But it doesn’t seem like that’s what will happen in reality. This is just my suggestion, but if I was there, I would do the same. Right now Lucknow looks completely shattered. It’s hard to know what to expect from them now. If I was in the dugout, the first thing I would do would be that Markram is the captain.”
