The MLA said that we had asked to start a swimming pool in Smart City. Instead of starting swimming pools, the municipal corporation has got swimming pools built at hundreds of places. Arrangements have been made for boating at every intersection of Kanpur, while according to claims lakhs and crores have been spent in the name of cleaning the drains. That’s why they are trying to wake up the sleeping municipal officials by demonstrating like this.
