Weather Updates: The month of June started with rains, due to which the weather remained pleasant. However, from Thursday (June 8) the temperature has started rising again. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of severe heat this week. According to the data released from IMD, the mercury is expected to cross 42 degrees in most parts of the country including the national capital in the coming days. There is also a possibility of strong hot wind.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Delhi is expected to reach 40 degrees on Thursday (June 8). At the same time, the heat of strong sunlight can bother people. According to IMD, there will be an increase in temperature in UP as well. According to the department, the temperature in some parts of the state can reach up to 45 degree Celsius in the coming days. During this time the sky will be clear and heatwave is expected.

Heat wave will continue
According to IMD, the process of heat wave will continue for 3-4 days in some parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. On the other hand, it is expected to rain in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh during the next 5 days.

light rain is expected
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) official, there is a possibility of light rain in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar in the next three to four days. In the warning of IMD, there is a possibility of rain with lightning in Raigad and Ratnagiri districts of Maharashtra on 9 and 10 June.

Light rain is also expected in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh of Uttarakhand state. Due to rain in Himachal Pradesh, the weather has remained dry. According to the Meteorological Department, it is expected to rain in many areas of the state including Mandi, Shimla. The rain and snowfall continues in Jammu and Kashmir as well.
