Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Date: Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday (June 18) attacked the former Chief Minister of the state Uddhav Thackeray. Fadnavis addressed a rally in Akola, Maharashtra. At the rally, he replied to Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and said that “Uddhav Thackeray cannot compete with Modi.”
Attacking Uddhav Thackeray, senior BJP leader and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis further said, “Those who do politics sitting at home do not know Modi-Shah. Uddhav Thackeray’s shop has been closed because of going with Congress and NCP. “
Attack on opposition meeting
He also attacked the meeting of the opposition to be held in Bihar’s capital Patna on 23 June. Fadnavis said, “Opposition leaders are gathering in Patna to defeat Modi. In 2019 also all the parties came together, what happened? Everyone saw that this time there will be a new face of Uddhav Thackeray in the picture.”
Regarding the opposition, the Deputy CM said that no matter how much the leaders of the opposition come together, they cannot unite and make a banyan tree.
