The discussion was happening because, forgetting the dignity of her post, she publicly slapped a government engineer. Geeta Jain is being criticized a lot when the video of this incident surfaced.

Geeta Bhayander is an independent MLA. She was angry with the corporation’s engineer for the construction work in the area. In the viral video, Mira Bhayander MLA Geeta Jain is heard abusing two engineers of the local municipal corporation for demolishing some construction work. In fact, due to the action of the engineers against the construction works, the residents including the children have been forced to live on the streets before the monsoon. Geeta Jain had received a complaint about the same thing.

Geeta Jain questioned how the engineers could demolish the structures and the MLA asked her to submit a Government Resolution (GR). Geeta Jain can be heard saying in the video, ‘You are a human being or a demon.’ After this Geeta Jain grabbed the engineer by his collar calling him useless. When the people present there said that the video is being made, they said that let it be made. At the same time, a person from the crowd complained that first let the builder come, then the engineer said that the structure has to be broken.
