Ashok Gehlot on Sachin Pilot: The stir has once again intensified in the Rajasthan Congress. The Congress is trying to sort out the differences between its two veteran leaders – Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot – ahead of the assembly elections in the state later this year. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, in an exclusive conversation with ABP News, countering Sachin Pilot’s allegations, has advised him.

Ashok Gehlot said on Monday (June 12), “Indira Gandhi ji gave me so much, the entire Gandhi family including Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi made me MLA, State President and 3 times Chief Minister of the state, what would anyone say?” that who is my leader.” Actually, Sachin Pilot had alleged that Ashok Gehlot’s leader is Vasundhara Raje, not Sonia Gandhi.

What did Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot say?

The Chief Minister further said, “When the party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and KC Venugopal have discussed it and it has been decided that everyone has to contest the election together, then I hope that any leader or worker will follow that instruction of the high command.” Will fight the elections together by following because the country needs the Congress today.”

He further said, “What can I say on what someone says, let me tell you that there were 4 cases against Vasundhara Raje which we have disposed of. Courts have given verdicts in some cases and there is a bus corporate case Which is under the purview of ED, so let me make it clear that no other matter is in my cognizance.”

“Rahul Gandhi is the leader of the opposition”

Describing Rahul Gandhi as the face of the opposition in the Lok Sabha elections, Ashok Gehlot said, “Rahul Gandhi is the natural leader because he Narendra Modi fighting with. But the decision in this regard will be taken by the leadership as they are in touch with other parties.”

Significantly, the Congress high command had recently held a meeting to make peace between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot. In which Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot also participated. After this meeting, the Congress had said that Gehlot and Pilot have agreed to fight the upcoming assembly elections unitedly. The high command will resolve the issues between them.

Will not back down from demands – Sachin Pilot

Earlier, Sachin Pilot said on Sunday (June 11) that the public’s trust is the biggest asset for him and he will continue to fight to get them justice and will not back down from his demands. After unveiling the statue of his father and former Union Minister Rajesh Pilot in Dausa on his death anniversary, Pilot said, “For me credibility among the public is the first priority. People’s trust, promises made to them and credibility are the biggest capital.” I have been in politics for the last 20-22 years and I have not done any such thing which shows that there has been a lack of trust.”
