Police sources said that the Traffic Control Cell of Mumbai Police had received a threatening message in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi on Monday night. Police further said that the message sent to the traffic control room claimed that ‘Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother is speaking and if Salman Khan wants to stay alive then he should go to our temple and apologize or give Rs 5 crore. If we don’t do this, we will kill you, our gang is still active.

A similar threat was received a few days ago also

Police further said that they came to know about this threatening message yesterday (Monday), when the officer working in the traffic control room read it at midnight. The police are currently searching for the person who made the threat. A few days ago too, Salman Khan had received death threats. In this case, the police had arrested a person from Noida. Worli Police had registered a case against an unknown person for sending several WhatsApp messages to Mumbai Police’s traffic helpline number demanding Rs 2 crore from the Bollywood superstar.

Why is Salman Khan the target of Lawrence?

Even before this, a person from Jharkhand had sent a threatening message to Salman Khan and apologized. Describing himself as a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang, this person had demanded Rs 5 crore to settle the case. Salman has been the target of Lawrence Bishnoi gang due to alleged blackbuck poaching in the 1990s.
