NCP Political Crisis: In Maharashtra, after NCP leader Ajit Pawar joined the Shinde government on July 1 and became the Deputy Chief Minister, many questions are being raised about the future of his party and Mahavikas Aghadi. Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT) involved in Mahavikas Aghadi have made their stand clear after the split in NCP.
Congress leaders and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray’s statement shows their further plan. On Tuesday (July 4), a meeting was held at Uddhav Thackeray’s residence Matoshree in Mumbai, in which it was decided that the Shiv Sena (UBT) would remain a part of the Mahavikas Aghadi. Party leader Anant Geete told that Uddhav Thackeray will tour the whole of Maharashtra.
Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole gave his opinion
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole and other party leaders also met NCP chief Sharad Pawar at YV Chavan Center in Mumbai. Nana Patole told the media, “In Maharashtra, we Pawar Saab, Uddhav Thackeray Saab, together are planning a tour in Maharashtra.” He said, “Pawar Saab himself will talk to Uddhav Thackeray Saab.” A party like BJP, which destroys the democratic system, which does not believe in democracy, which has dictatorial tendencies, has to be uprooted from the land of Maharashtra, this is our resolve.

Statements of Balasaheb Thorat and Sanjay Raut
Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat said, “Those who have the support of the public are always strong. The people of Maharashtra are with us. I have not spoken to him (Ajit Pawar).” Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said, “Today (July 4) a meeting was held under the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray. The way the politics of manipulation is going on in the country, it was discussed in the meeting.” With this, he said,” Sharad Pawar is not alone. He is like Balasaheb Thackeray, he will not be weak.
NCP made Leader of Opposition, now Congress is making up its mind
Let us tell you that after the resignation of Ajit Pawar, Sharad Pawar had appointed NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad to fill the post of Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, but now the Congress is also planning to stake claim for this post.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party was also held at Vidhan Bhavan in Mumbai on Tuesday (July 4) to discuss the issue of allegedly staking claim to the post of Leader of the Opposition. The Congress currently has 45 MLAs in the state.
At the same time, Sharad Pawar, who has appointed one of his MLAs to this post, is also saying that it is fair for the Congress, a constituent of the Mahavikas Aghadi, to claim that its leader should be the opposition. In which direction the political developments of Maharashtra will go now, everyone’s eyes are on it.
