Indian Army In Manipur: The Indian Army, engaged in efforts to restore peace after ethnic violence in Manipur, on Thursday (June 1) responded to a ‘social media message’ that tarnished its image. The Indian Army said that all its ranks are beyond race, caste, creed and gender.
“A message posted on Twitter and Facebook, circulated through messaging apps, gives details of army officers from a particular community performing internal security duties in Manipur,” the statement said. Attacking their loyalty and honesty towards the nation, the message aims to undermine the foundation of the faith and ethos of the officers of the Indian Army.
The Indian Army further said in the statement
“The officers who are being maligned for rescuing thousands of lives in Manipur working sleepless nights, without food and water and providing shelter to people irrespective of religion, caste or creed,” the Indian Army said in a statement. Has been made available.
The statement further said, “All ranks of the Indian Army are race, caste, creed and gender agnostic (beyond anything) – fair to all and fearing none. Indian Army officers and soldiers are posted in all parts of the country as per the need of the organization.

Strongly refuted the propaganda message
“It is also to be noted that the numbers shown in the list represent a minuscule fraction of the total number of officers currently posted in all formations and units in Manipur,” the army said in a statement. The (Social Media) post is an attempt to weaken an institution which in a subtle way reflects the image of the nation and has never allowed regional bias to interfere in its functioning. The Indian Army strongly refutes this heinous message.
