Sheikh Hasina Gift Mangoes To PM Modi: Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, President Draupadi Murmu and prime minister Narendra Modi Sent fresh seasonal mangoes as a gift. Last year also he had sent mangoes for PM Modi. These include ‘Himsagar’ and ‘Langda’ species, which mainly occur in the Rajshahi region of Bangladesh.
Let us tell you that Himsagar is a very popular mango variety. It is found in West Bengal of India and Rajshahi of Bangladesh. According to the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has also sent mangoes to former Congress President Sonia Gandhi and other dignitaries.
Mangoes were also sent to Mamta Banerjee
Earlier, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had sent 600 kg of mangoes as a gift to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The mangoes sent included ‘Himsagar’ and ‘Langda’ varieties. It is believed that as part of diplomatic efforts, the PM of Bangladesh has sent mangoes to Mamta Banerjee.
Gift given to all the Chief Ministers of the Northeast
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Hasina has also sent mangoes to all the Chief Ministers of the Northeast. Last year, he sent mangoes as gifts to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and chief ministers of West Bengal, Tripura and Assam. Recently, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had also sent four kilos of mangoes of all varieties to PM Modi.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio tweeted, “I am honored to receive the best quality mangoes from Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. I am hopeful that India-Bangladesh relations will grow stronger under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Best wishes to the people.”
