‘Delhi Police told me…’, Abhijeet Deepke’s big claim after Sonam Wangchuk was removed from the protest

Educationist and social activist Sonam Wangchuk has been removed from Jantar Mantar by Delhi Police and taken to hospital. After this, Cockroach Janata Party Chief Abhijeet Deepke has made a big claim. CJP Chief posted on X and said that Delhi Police beat him and later took him into custody. Sonam Wangchuk, who was on fast unto death for the last 20 days, was removed from the protest site early in the morning on Saturday (July 18) by Delhi Police. After this, CJP workers have also been chased away from Jantar Mantar.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra CJP workers, who were agitating demanding Pradhan’s resignation, strongly opposed the police action. In protest against the action, slogans were raised against the police at the protest site and a lot of commotion was witnessed during this period.

Let us tell you that this action of the police has come just before the hearing in Delhi High Court regarding Wangchuk’s rapidly deteriorating health. Just two days ago, the High Court had given necessary instructions to the administration, expressing concern over the deteriorating health of Sonam Wangchuk. The High Court had directed the officials to conduct daily clinical examination of Sonam Wangchuk’s health.

The life of any citizen is most precious – High Court
The High Court had said that the life of any citizen of the country is the most precious, hence their health should be monitored regularly and necessary medical intervention should be done if needed. The High Court had clearly told the Central Government that whatever is possible should be done to save Wangchuk’s life.

‘Wangchuk’s condition was very critical’
The doctors who examined Sonam Wangchuk on Friday had described her condition as extremely critical and a medical emergency. According to doctors, Sonam Wangchuk had lost more than 9 kg of weight due to not taking food for 20 consecutive days. After the glucose and fat in his body were completely destroyed, the muscles started melting. Doctors had warned that if the fast is not stopped immediately, the body’s main organs may stop functioning, which could pose a serious threat to his life.
