Gurugram News: An encounter took place between cow smugglers and cow protectors late on Sunday night in Gurugram, adjacent to the country’s capital Delhi. Five miscreants were carrying 4 cows in black colored scarves. When the cow protectors tried to stop them, they started firing. After this, the smugglers fled leaving the vehicle on the expressway near Farrukhnagar.
Gurugram police is now investigating this entire matter. Officials said that the Scorpio has a police sticker. Cows are loaded in the car caught. When the investigation was done, two bullet shells were also recovered from the scarpies. Taking advantage of the darkness, all 5 smugglers fled at that time. Action will be taken against the accused after completing the investigation soon and action will be taken as per the law.
Earlier three people were arrested
Earlier, three people, including a head constable of Delhi Police, were arrested from Haryana’s Nuhan district for their involvement in cow smuggling. Police said that two cows and a four wheeler were recovered from them. All three were produced in the city court, from where they were sent to judicial custody. The accused were identified as Amit Kumar of Delhi, Yogesh Kumar Meena of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan and Amir of Nuhan district.
The police had told that Meena is a head constable in Delhi Police and is posted at Mohan Garden police station in Dwarka. On the basis of information, the police stopped a vehicle near Bhajlaka village in Tauru, when they saw the policemen, they tried to leave the vehicle and run away. There were two cows in the vehicle. The police had caught all three in no time.
